Concord Music Signs Hitmaker Justin Parker

Concord Music, the worldwide independent leader in music publishing, has announced a new global publishing deal with multi-award winning English songwriter and producer Justin Parker.

The Ivor Novello award-winning writer has enjoyed an illustrious career over the past decade. His breakthrough came through in 2011 with his co-write for Lana Del Ray's worldwide hit, "Video Games" - the pair wrote a total of twelve songs together, five of which can be heard on the critically acclaimed Born to Die - which helped create her signature style. The following year he won an Ivor Novello for "Video Games".

Kim Frankiewicz, EVP of Worldwide Creative at Concord Music commented, "Justin is a once in a generation songwriter. His songs have provided the soundtrack for so many; we are absolutely thrilled to welcome him to Concord in what looks to be a very exciting year!".

Other highlights include Bat For Lashes (for which he was nominated for his second Ivor Novello Award in 2013 with the song "Laura"), Rihanna (for co-writing the 2012 hit "Stay" with Mikky Ekko), Linkin Park (for co-writing the 2017 single "Invisible"). Cuts have also included Skrillex, Gnash, Banks, Icona Pop, Sia and Birdy (who he also currently working with).

Justin is currently collaborating with Years and Years, Mikky Ekko, Kwabs, Mullally, Sigrid, and Beberexa.

"From the first moment I met Kim and her team I knew Concord was the right place for me. Their genuine passion for what I do and the idea of working with a more boutique publisher was the perfect combination, I'm really excited about the music we're going to make together," said Parker.
