Legendary funk bassist Bootsy Collins rose to prominence with James Brown in the early 1970s and later with Parliament Funkadelic, while renowned recording engineer Jim Vitti has been credited with designing and producing the sound of Parliament Funkadelic, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, Zapp and Roger, the Brides of Funkenstein, and more. These funk legends had an intimate conversation at the Grammy Museum highlighting their illustrious career which lead to many of their classic, groundbreaking funk recordings. This event was funktastic.
