Big Sean Returns for Detroit's Annual All-Star Giveback

WHAT: Multi-platinum recording activist and philanthropist Big Sean and the Sean Anderson Foundation returned to participate in Detroit’s Annual All-Star Giveback: Thanksgiving Edition hosted by Tarence Wheeler Productions. This marks the seventh year that Sean and his foundation have distributed turkeys, canned goods and holiday meal trimmings to over 5,000 Detroit families.

WHO: Big Sean joined forces with other Detroit figures, including NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton, Hall of Fame Boxer Tommy “Hitman” Hearns, Rapper Sada Baby, Actress Leah Jeffries and more.

WHY: The All-Star Giveback is a holiday tradition where Sean and his foundation distribute food for Detroit families in need. The event follows the 2nd Annual D.O.N. Weekend, hosted by Sean and the Sean Anderson Foundation, aimed at celebrating and giving back to the Detroit community. During this year’s D.O.N. Weekend, Sean and the foundation partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan to unveil a new Content & Production Studio in the Dauch Campus Boys & Girls Club, as well as host a block party and a Mental Health Awareness panel.
