Ben Harper's Mad Bunny Records Signs Jake Etheridge

Mad Bunny Records has announced its signing of singer-songwriter and actor Jake Etheridge. Originally hailing from South Carolina and raised in a family of musicians, the now Nashville-based Etheridge comes to the label with a strong fan base, with over 15 million cumulative streams including 97K monthly listeners on Spotify. He has penned songs for film and television, including shows Shameless, the CW’s Supergirl, Charmed, UnREAL, and nearly a dozen for CMT’s Nashville, in which he also starred. He was also a member of the platinum-selling Dutch country band The Common Linnets, whose song “Calm After The Song” reached #1 in 14 countries throughout Europe.

Work has already begun on Etheridge’s next release, due in 2022, and the two have begun exchanging ideas off and on the stage – Etheridge recently opened for Harper’s sold out show in Colorado at Red Rocks on May 31st and the two have performed at Out of Space in Evanston, Illinois on August 7, 2021.
