Audiomack Supports New Artists with #UpNow

Launched earlier this year with Rod Wave, #UpNow is Audiomack's new emerging artist program dedicated to spotlighting and promoting the next generation of global music superstars. Each quarter, Audiomack will be handpicking a minimum of three artists across all genres to provide them with specialized marketing, editorial programming, social promotion, playlisting, custom videos, and experiential events.

The next #UpNow artist will be Nigerian emerging artist Omah Lay. His new EP ‘What Have We Done’ drops this Friday. Omah Lay has over 100 Million Streams on Audiomack. His "Get Layd" EP was the number 1 streaming project on Audiomack when it was released. He is among the top 5 most searched Afrobeats artist on the platform. Growth of African music on the platform has doubled within the last year. Doubling down on their focus in Africa, Audiomack launched an office in Lagos earlier this year and recently inked a deal with Warner Music Group to have their music in Africa.

"Audiomack has been one of the platforms that have played a big role in my career. I will always have a love for the platform. The majority of my listeners are coming from this app. It’s a huge thing for me so I’m grateful to everyone."- Omah Lay

For the last seven years, Audiomack has been a music discovery platform for emerging artists to connect directly to their fans and promote their music globally. We worked with some of the top global superstars earlier in their careers such as Chance The Rapper, Rod Wave, and Migos, to name a few where we provided them trending, playlisting, content, and marketing support before other DSPs. As we grow as a streaming platform servicing artists at all levels, we will continue to be an incubator for emerging talent and a place for fans to discover the next big superstar. What's up next in culture is actually what's #UPNow on Audiomack." - VP, Marketing & Brand Strategy - Jason Johnson
