For music producers looking to put their name on the map, Audeobox, GeoGuessr, and FL Studio have just dropped a challenge that blends creativity, competition, and a little bit of cartographic flair.
The Legendary Remix Challenge is a new global competition centered around remixing “Legendary,” the official anthem of the 2025 GeoGuessr World Championships. The track, originally performed by Swedish-American artist Mapei, was written by Niki and the Dove and produced by YARO. It captures themes of discovery, resilience, and global unity—values that align closely with GeoGuessr’s mission of turning virtual globetrotting into a worldwide sport.
Now, music producers are being invited to bring their own creative twist to the song, and maybe even turn a remix into an international milestone.
A statement from the company discloses that “GeoGuessr has always been more than just a game—it’s a global culture powered by an incredibly creative community,” according to Mikael Falgard, Head of Esports at GeoGuessr. “By partnering with Audeobox, we’re inviting remixers worldwide to put their own spin on our anthem and become part of this championship moment.”
And the stakes are high. The winner of the challenge will see their remix officially released by Universal Music, receive premium prizes from FL Studio and Audeobox, and score an all-expenses-paid trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, for the World Championship Finals on August 29–30, 2025.
