Rain didn't stop concertgoers from attending the Mad Man tour on March 16. Amongst a sold-out crowd at the Novo in downtown Los Angeles spectators waited patiently to see IDK, Denzel Curry and of course the man of the hour ASAP Ferg perform live on stage.
IDK was the first act to perform on stage, with an extremely high energy presence IDK dropped songs from his latest album IWASVERYBAD. "Baby Scale" and "Black sheep, white dove" was amongst the crowds favorite as they chanted and screamed at the top of their lungs to every lyric. IDK is a fairly new artist to the scene but at the end, he did gain the audience respect.
Florida's own Denzel Curry was up next, his energy lit up the room as he paced back and forth, his adrenaline was hard to keep up with. But Denzel rapped many hits songs including "Ultimate" and "This Life" and at one point crowd surfed as people were struggling to keep him afloat. Denzel curry and IDK are ones to look out for in 2018 they both dropped a song together "Uh Huh" its a banger. And finally who everyone's been waiting for appeared on stage with a huge smile on his face.
ASAP Ferg dressed in all white, he stood out like a sore thumb and did catch everyone's attention. Standing next to two robotic lights that mimic his every move, looking like something from a sci-fi movie. Ferg ran through a slew of hit songs like "Trap and a Dream" "What do you do" and "Wrong" but what his fans were really waiting for was his hit song on the radio called "Plain Jane" off his 2017 album Still Striving. He definitely lit the stage on fire with that joint. Near the end of his set, ASAP called Denzel and IDK on stage to perform their joint single "Kristi Yamagucci." All three combined their energies sent shock waves throughout the building. Overall the Mad man tour was a concert worth going to and worth every penny. Ferg definitely delivered and left the audience begging for more.
