Apply for HIFI Labs Web3 Artist Cohort Program

HIFI Labs, a creative incubator and artist mentorship collective, opened applications for the upcoming session of their Web3 Artist Cohort Program, marking its official launch and the first time the program is open to the public. The goal of the program is to solve the basic obstacles that stand in the way of emerging artists and their success including limited access to money, information and strategic counsel. The program is led by HIFI Labs Head of Web3 & Artist Teams Henry Chatfield. HIFI Labs has established itself as a leader in web3 artist partnerships and custom tech activations, having worked with the likes of Interpol, David Lynch, RAC, Dove Cameron, 88Rising, and more.

HIFI Labs’ Web3 Artist Cohort is a free virtual three-week immersive program that helps connect emerging musicians with the resources they need to further develop and launch their next music project using Web3 tools. Sessions will take place monthly and feature a small group of up to five musicians working together in a cohort designed to encourage collaboration and inspire new ideas through peer-based learning and idea shaping. HIFI Labs provides opportunities to the participants through curated lessons, prompt-driven projects, and live peer feedback sessions. The company  is also actively facilitating a growing number of financial resources -- directly and from contributing partners -- to help artists cover expenses.

“Over the last fifteen years working in music, I have asked many musicians what they need more of in order to be successful and that answer is almost unanimously one word - ‘resources.’ HIFI Labs’ Web3 Artist Cohort program is our answer to that, a way to utilize web3 tools and technology to connect artists with the top three resources they need in order to counter career roadblocks - money, information and strategy,” said Henry Chatfield, Head of HIFI Labs Web3 & Artist Teams. “I have personally experienced the remarkable benefits and efficacy of cohort-based learning and it became my mission to design a similar program specifically for musicians. I am super proud of the cohort program we are building at HIFI and can’t wait to help more artists share their creativity with the world.”

In June, HIFI Labs began beta testing the Web3 Artist Cohort as an invite-only experience. Session 1 featured Alan Lili, Astu, WYMN, and SassyBlack, all of whom completed the program in June. The current Session 2 cohort which was the second in the beta-testing and commenced on August 9 consists of Alara, Boy Untitled, Brenna, mexyu and TK

Session 3 applications are currently open until September 2 in which five artists will be selected to participate in the next cohort.
