The AIMP New York Chapter has announced they will be hosting an educational webinar on Thursday (Feb 10).
Titled “Working Together for Neighboring Rights - A Conversation with IAFAR and Songtradr,” the online event will be sponsored by Songtradr and held at 1pm ET / 12pm CT / 10am PT. It is free and open to the public with registration available here.
Having already partnered with several other music organizations to de-mystify neighboring rights in North America, IAFAR is teaming up with Songtradr’s Samantha Schilling Robinson, who single-handedly built their Neighboring Rights collection business from the ground up, to peel back the onion on this very misunderstood topic. The webinar, moderated by Abby North (North Music Group / AIMP LA Chapter Board member) will feature a discussion with panelists Dennis Dreith (Chairman and Co-Founder, Transparence Entertainment Group), Stacey Haber (Co-Founder, Insider Baseball Music Publishing / Owner, The Music Firm), Naomi Wallace Asher (VP, International Neighbouring Rights, Sony Music Publishing / President of IAFAR UK and IAFAR US), and Samantha Schilling Robinson (VP and MD of Latin America and Neighboring Rights, Songtradr).
