Round Hill Music Joint Venture with Feel Music Group

Round Hill Music

Round Hill Music has announced that it has entered into a joint venture with Eric Krasno’s Feel Music Group. The joint venture will consist of a record label, Feel Music Records/Round Hill Records, as well as a publishing company. The two parties will merge resources in order to provide artist development, marketing, PR, promotion, synch licensing and publishing administration. The joint venture will use Sony/RED for record distribution.

Feel Music GroupFeel Music's creator Eric Krasno is a founding member of the internationally renowned band Soulive and a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and guitarist (Derek Trucks Band “Already Free” and Tedeschi Trucks Band “Revelator”). He has performed and toured with the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews Band, the Roots, Joshua Redman, John Scofield, the Black Crowes and many others. Krasno has produced songs and records for a diverse list of artists, including Aaron Neville, Norah Jones, 50 Cent, Talib Kweli, Justin Timberlake, Ledisi, Chaka Khan, Vieux Farka Toure and Dave Matthews. He formed Royal Family Records in 2008 and has since released three albums with Soulive (all of which debuted at No. 1 in Jazz on iTunes). He is the musical director of Soulive's renowned BOWLIVE events, which take place at Brooklyn Bowl.

“I’m very excited to launch Feel Music Group with Round Hill as a partner. We've assembled a stellar team and have some amazing releases planned over the next year. The London Souls are our first signing. As I’ve been a huge fan of the band for a long time, I think it's a perfect way to kick things off,” said Krasno.

The London SoulsBrooklyn duo the London Souls, whose energy and reinterpretation of classic hard-hitting rock has made them nothing short of a kept secret among New York City concertgoers since their 2008 formation, are the first signing under this new joint venture. Comprised of Tash Neal and Chris St. Hilaire, the London Souls have been building a fervent and dynamic fan-base matched only by the band’s impassioned, explosive live performances. Their celebrated sound and spirit draws from the driving force of British rock pioneers Cream and Led Zeppelin, to billowing and bouncing funk and soul, to the layered harmonies and memorable hooks of the Beatles and the Hollies, to the contemporary psychedelia of My Morning Jacket and more. Their new single, "When I'm With You," available digitally, recently premiered on Entertainment Weekly and comes from their forthcoming album Here Come The Girls due for release on April 7.
