Wu-Tang Clan at the Toyota Arena, Ontario, CA

All-Star Rap group the Wu-Tang and “super-duo” Run The Jewels stopped at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA before playing San Diego and Los Angeles, CA the next two shows. Wu-Tang Clan formed in New York back in 1992 and released their historic album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) a year later. The founding lineup was The Rza, The Gza, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, and U-God. Capadonna would join for their second album in 1997 Wu-Tang Forever.  In 2004 there would be a special reunion of all members at Rock the Bells taking place just 4 months before ODB’s passing. In 2013 ODB’s son YDB (Young Dirty Bastard) first performed with the group alongside a hologram of his father.  Fast forward to 2025, the Wu-Tang clan is out on their farewell tour concluding July 18th in Philadelphia, PA. Along with the Wu-Tang clan is DJ Mathematics who began working with GZA back in 1990 and is responsible for a lot of their iconic artwork. There is also a live band.

The show kicked off with the leader of the Wu-Tang clan RZA “On Sunlight” and song by song the other members would join. The show was broken into four parts with video content in between. The first set would end with one of their biggest hits, “Protect Ya Neck.” Set two included songs from the solo careers of Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Cappadonna, and Method Man. Set three would include songs from GZA, Masta Killah, and Cappadonna. The group paid tribute to ODB in the final part of the show with his songs “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and “Got Your Money.” Throughout the show it varied how many members were onstage but closing the show was the entire group for “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Triumph.”
