The Glitch Mob, the Los Angeles-based electronic trio consisting of Justin Boreta (Boreta), Ed Ma (edIT) and Joshua Mayer (Ooah), officially release their 2011 remix version of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” through Third Man Records on all streaming platforms.

The remix is also joined by a fresh, mind-bending music video directed by Stripmall (YoungBoy Never Broke Again & Lil Baby, Lil Skies).

“In 2011, we released an unofficial remix of one of our favorite songs of all time, ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes,” says The Glitch Mob’s Justin Boreta. “It is a surreal honor to have something that started as an homage transform into an official release.”

In celebration of the release, The White Stripes and The Glitch Mob joined with Strangeloop Studios to create their first ever NFT collection. The NFT collection was made available exclusively on Nifty Gateway earlier this week and featured six unique visual art pieces, a one-of-one video and a 7-inch vinyl test pressing of the remix. The Glitch Mob also announced today a limited edition 7-inch vinyl release for “Seven Nation Army” available via The White Stripes and Third Man Records. Pre-order it HERE.

Earlier this year The Glitch Mob released a fully remastered and expanded edition of their inaugural album Drink The Sea celebrating the album’s 10th-anniversary. Edward Ma of the group also released the solo album Come To Grips as edIT on his label Know Truth No Lie. The release was his first edIT album in 13 years. Stay tuned for more from the band in 2021.
