Warner Records Announces Exclusive Record Store Day Releases

Record Store Day Part 3 is nearly here, this Saturday October 24.  Warner Records, an official sponsor of RSD, announced exclusive vinyl releases for the day. Click here for complete details of where to shop in your area.
The exclusive releases for Fall 2020 are as follows:
Mark Knopfler – Metroland (Music and Songs From The Film): Clear vinyl album. Limited to 3,000 copies worldwide.
First time on vinyl. Originally released on CD only in 1989. Contains tracks from Dire Straits, Elvis Costello, Francoise Hardy, The Stranglers, Hot Chocolate, Django Reinhardt plus original score by Knopfler.
Randy Newman – The Natural: Transparent light blue vinyl album. Limited to 4,000 copies worldwide.
Back on vinyl since its original release in 1984. Original film score.
Randy Newman – Avalon (Original Motion Picture Score): Solid blue and silver mixed vinyl album. Limited to 3,000 copies worldwide.
Originally released only on CD in 1990, this is the first time on vinyl in the U.S.
Music From The Motion Picture: Austin Powers In Goldmember – Gold vinyl album. Limited to 5,000 copies worldwide.
First time on vinyl. Originally released on CD only in 1992.
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me Soundtrack – Transparent Tan vinyl album. Limited to 5,000 copies worldwide.
First time on vinyl. Originally released on CD only in 1999. Contains the hit “Beautiful Stranger” by Madonna.
Lethal Weapon (original Motion Picture Soundtrack – Clear vinyl album. Limited to 4,000 copies worldwide.
First time on vinyl since its original 1987 release. Newly remastered for vinyl. Composed and performed by Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen and David Sandborn. Clapton featured on 9 of the tracks.
Phenomenon (Music From The Motion Picture) – Cobalt translucent vinyl album. Limited to 4,000 copies worldwide.
First time on vinyl since its original Reprise Records release in 1996. Contains tracks recorded specifically for this chart-topping Platinum-certified soundtrack by Eric Clapton, Aaron Neville, Robbie Robertson, Peter Gabriel, Taj Mahal, Marvin Gaye, Jewel, The Iguanas, Bryan Ferry, J.J. Cale, Dorothy Moore and Thomas Newman.

Record Store Day, the organization, is managed by the Department of Record Stores and is organized in partnership with the Alliance of Independent Media Stores (AIMS), the Coalition of Independent Music Stores (CIMS) and promotes independent record stores year-round with events, special releases and other fun things.
Record Store Day, the global celebration of the culture of the record store, has taken place annually in April. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 13th annual Record Store Day will be replaced by RSD Drops, three separate title drop dates set to take place on three Saturdays in the 4th Quarter of 2020: Aug. 29, Sept. 26 and Oct. 24.
