"We consider Iron Mountain Entertainment Services a close ally and a key member of the audio community," stated Maureen Droney, Recording Academy Sr. Managing Director, Producers & Engineers Wing. "IMES has long been synonymous with excellence in sound, film and fine art archival practices. With the recent increased music industry focus on the importance of protecting original music masters, the issues related to proper asset management are more fundamental than ever. We share with IMES the same vision of best practices in archiving, preservation, restoration and transfer, as well as an overall commitment to excellence in audio. We look forward to continuing our joint efforts to preserve the past and shape the future of recorded music."

Lance Podell, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Iron Mountain Entertainment Services, added, "We are extremely proud of the work we do to deliver end-to-end asset lifecycle management to our recording clients—artists, producers, labels, engineers, managers and archivists. We share the emotional connection that artists have to their life's work – from physical items like costumes, instruments and setlists to digital files like concert video – and we're deeply committed to providing solutions that ensure the value of these items is preserved and accessible for future generations. Our partnership with the Recording Academy's Producers & Engineers Wing is not just vital to our ability to deliver industry-leading solutions but also to our commitment to preserve legacies and activate archives for future use. Through our partnership with the P&E Wing we continue to raise awareness of the critical importance of thoughtful archive strategy, and work with creators and entertainers to develop and implement best practices to future-proof their life's work."
