Glassnote Entertainment Group's Resolved Records Announces Partnership With Spacebomb Group

Glassnote Entertainment Group, the independent music company founded by industry veteran Daniel Glass, announced its Resolved Records has entered into a strategic partnership to provide financial, marketing and industry expertise to the owners of Spacebomb Group, Matthew E. White and Ben Baldwin along with their partners who are also members of the House Band, as they expand their recording studio, record label, publishing, production and artist management operations.

The all-encompassing agreement enables the Resolved Records and Glassnote teams, including Glassnote Records, Insieme Music Publishing and Present Artist Management, to work closely with Spacebomb Group across Spacebomb Records, Spacebomb Publishing, Spacebomb Productions and Dreamboat Artist Management. Glassnote launched Resolved Records in 2014 to offer individualized support and services to entertainment entrepreneurs, emerging producers and independent labels.

In making the announcement, Daniel Glass, President/Founder of Glassnote Entertainment, said, “Spacebomb is truly unique, with an exceptional studio and a creative house band of musicians at its heart, much like legendary record labels like Stax and Motown. Matthew and his team have already created their own instantly recognizable sound and we’re thrilled to work with them to expand their reach and horizons, and to introduce new artists to this new fantastically creative hub.”

Spacebomb, based in Richmond, Virginia and Bristol, U.K., began as a record label and recording studio assembled under a house band model that would go on to produce and release debut albums by Natalie Prass, Bedouine and Spacebomb founder Matthew E. White. Additionally, Spacebomb Productions has lent its production team and house band model to artists and bands around the world including Foxygen, The Waterboys, Cocoon and Slow Club.

The agreement marks a significant expansion of Resolved Records, which recently acquired the Jerden Records Catalog, consisting of labels including Jerden, Picadilly, First American and Great Northwest. Resolved, which is distributed by Universal Music Group (UMG), additionally provides resources, both financial and creative, marketing and operational support, mentorship and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs with the goal of helping them grow their businesses creatively and commercially.

UMG additionally serves as a global distributor of Glassnote Records and Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) administers Glassnote’s Insieme Music Publishing in territories around the world.
