Round Hill Music, Trey Bruce Join Forces

Round Hill Music has announced the signing of an exclusive worldwide publishing deal and joint venture with songwriter/producer Trey Bruce.

"I'm really excited to be represented by this group of talented executives and music shepherds. In some ways Round Hill is a bit of a homecoming for me, and I couldn't be more thrilled and inspired," Bruce says.

Bruce's first country demo became an immediate hit for Shelby Lynn, followed by a list of cuts for Randy Travis, including three #1 singles in a row: "Look Heart No Hands", "Spirit Of A Boy, Wisdom Of A Man", and "Whisper My Name", which Bruce penned 100% himself. Those were followed by more hits for Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Gary Allen, Reba McEntire,Gloriana, and Marty Stuart, to name just a few. Trey's first venture into television resulted in an Emmy for Best Song for "Where There's Hope", followed by featured uses of "This Is Your Moment" on The Biggest Loser and American Idol, among others. In 2013, he celebrated his third #1 Australian smash with Dianna Corcoran's, "Therapy", along with the Rick Rubin produced ZZ Top cut, "Heartache In Blue", and Alabama's first studio single in over a decade, "All Americans", another 100% self written gem.

Jonnie "Most" Davis, Senior Vice President of A&R at Round Hill Music says, "Trey and I were old friends from the first day we met. He is relentless in his pursuit of song greatness and has never been one to chase fads, take shortcuts, or rest on his prior achievements, which are many. Trey has a well established pedigree in Nashville, and I couldn't be more proud to have him join the Round Hill family."

After leaving Big Tractor, Trey took a job as Director of A&R with Chrysalis Music and opened the Nashville office, where he signed and developed Sony artist Chris Janson and American Idol's Kree Harrison.
