Brooklyn rapper and producer Erick the Architect has joined forces with Ghostface KIllah and Fergie Baby for chill new anthem "YERR."
"With Erick representing Flatbush, Fergie bringing Harlem’s unmistakable character and Ghostface carrying Staten Island’s storytelling tradition, the track turns a distinctly local greeting into an invitation across boroughs," reads a statement. "Its two-part construction and beat switch give that exchange room to move, connecting artists whose voices belong to different eras, but whose attachment to their city is equally unmistakable."
The video is wonderfully old school; distance shots of street-hangs give way to on-the-road shots. The tune is taken from Erick the Architect's sophomore album AFTERBURNER, out in January.
