Los Angeles artist Ando San, known for blending hip-hop with metal riffs, has dropped new single and video "March For Me" via Sumerian Records, and it's weighty stomp of a tune.
“'March For Me' is a reclamation song for me,” he says. “It's about me rising to where I need to be, and my destiny as an artist to grow and be truthfully and authentically myself. I was really inspired by Tyler, The Creator album Chromakopia; the whole album has this militant feel to it, and I wanted to embrace that feeling of power and authority.”
Ando San plays the guitar himself, as well as providing the verses and rhymes, and the man is a gifted six-stringer. Meanwhile, the video is a suitably intense riot--a sea of flags, suits and flashing red lights.
