Emceed by legendary Pat Benatar guitarist, husband and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Neil Giraldo, The Sunset Marquis Bar 1200 in Los Angeles hosted an exclusive event for the unveiling of Giraldo’s Volume 2 signature line of Bourbon. Made in America, Three Chord Bourbon is renowned for award-winning blends, innovative cask finishes, and philanthropic work in the music community. Each bottle of the new release features energetic concert photography of musicians who embody the spirit of the liquid within, and the album cover-like label design reflects Three Chord’s commitment to and heritage in music.
Three Chord Bourbon celebrated the launch in conjunction with the Morrison Gallery that underscored the brands roots in music. Giraldo utilized the gallery’s incredible wealth of rock and roll photos to share stories of notable moments in his long career. Giraldo paid a deeply moving and personal tribute to the recently departed Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson and ended with a tribute to the late great Rick Derringer who gave Giraldo his first professional gig. Giraldo’s deep respect of Brian Wilson was stirring, as he compared Wilson to the combination of The Beatles McCartney, Lennon, and George Martin, calling Wilson the combination of all three of them.

The evening was capped off by Whisky Network magazine presenting Three Chord Bourbon their coveted Whisky Maker Of The Year Award. They had won the coveted award in 2023, but current events delayed the presentation until this night. A similar event to celebrate Volume 2 was also held at the world-famous Power Station Recording Studio in New York.
“With Volume 2, Three Chord isn’t just celebrating music—we’re honoring the full creative experience,” says Giraldo. “From legendary musicians to iconic designers and photographers, it’s a tribute to the artists behind the art. Inspired by classic records and iconic imagery, Volume 2 is designed to be savored while listening, dropping the needle on fresh vinyl and immersing oneself in every detail. This isn’t just whiskey. It’s music, bottled.”

Three Chord Bourbon has many varieties that should enchant whisky drinkers, including a tribute set to The Allman Brothers with tiers up to a collector’s edition. Giraldo elaborates further, “I grew up surrounded by people who made things with their hands–music, food, drink. You didn't buy creativity. You lived it. That sense of self-reliance and community defined my upbringing. Coming up in Cleveland, the music scene mirrored that ethos. It was about people coming together, making something out of nothing, and building a community through shared experiences. With Three Chord, I wanted to give people something that felt like that again. Like the music I grew up with, this whiskey isn't just a product; it's a tribute to the artists, musicians, and pioneers who make things with their hands and hearts, and to the people that love and respect what they've made.” Three Chord Bourbon promotes drinking responsibly.
