Psychedelic Furs

The Psychedelic Furs at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA

When it comes to groups that dominated the '80s and continue to remain popular, The Psychedelic Furs make that list. Their song “Pretty In Pink,” was the inspiration for the John Hughes film of the same name. That alone was enough to secure their place in music history. On top of that, all seven of the group's albums made the charts in the U.K. with 12 being the highest position. The Psychedelic Furs also had several number one hits.  The group broke up after fifteen years together and regrouped in 2000 and have been together since. The Psychedelic Furs consists of brothers Richard (lead vocals) and Tim Butler (bass), Rich Good (guitarist), Mars William (sax), Amanda Kramer (keyboards), and Paul Garisto (drummer).

Psychedelic Furs played a total of twelve songs. They opened up with one of their biggest hits, “Love My Way,” and ended with “India.” They’re as psychedelic as ever and are still one of the greatest new-wave groups.
