Fresh off a breakout weekend at Coachella, rising alt-pop force SOMBR has officially announced his fall YOU ARE THE REASON TOUR, a massive 39-date North American arena run that signals just how quickly his trajectory is scaling.
The tour kicks off in Mexico City before making its way across major markets, including a two-night hometown stop at Madison Square Garden on November 23 and 24—an addition driven by overwhelming demand. It’s a full-circle moment for the New York native, whose early recordings began in a DIY Lower East Side setup and have since evolved into arena-sized anthems.
The lineup of support acts reflects SOMBR’s wide-reaching sonic orbit, with appearances from Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, King Princess, and more rotating across dates. The eclectic mix mirrors SOMBR’s own blend of indie rock grit and polished pop ambition.

The announcement arrives just days after his buzzy debut at in the desert, where his set drew one of the weekend’s largest crowds and solidified his reputation as a next-gen rock frontman. A surprise onstage moment with Billy Corgan—performing “1979”—only amplified the conversation, bridging eras while reinforcing SOMBR’s place in the genre’s evolving landscape.
Alongside the tour news, SOMBR continues to feed fans with new music, most recently teasing and releasing “Potential,” a self-written track that builds on the chart success of “Homewrecker” and his earlier breakout “Back to Friends.” His rapid ascent—from a Best New Artist nomination at the GRAMMYs to major TV performances and chart dominance—has been defined by a rare combination of creative control and mainstream reach.
