Blues Hall of Famer and, as of last year, GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement award recipient, Taj Mahal played the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 19th with Patty Griffin opening the show. Taj Mahal is one of the last living blues legends, with a career going back 60+ years. Taj Mahal released his self-titled debut back in 1968 and has released over 40 albums with the most recent being his second collaboration with Keb’ Mo’. Taj Mahal played banjo, 8-string ukulele, resonator guitar, and resonator guitar. The setlist included “Roscoe’s Mule Down in Roscoe’s Barn,” “Queen Bee,” “E Z Rider,” and "Everybody's Somebody.”
