BURL Audio has announced a songwriting contest for 2022 and is giving away over $9,000 worth of prizes!
When the Covid-19 Pandemic first began, Burl Audio wanted to do something for fellow musicians around the world who were grappling with a sudden new reality. The first songwriting contest was a huge success, and Burl decided to do it again in 2021, with even more prizes, and more songs submitted.

Contest Requirements:
- Song must be about "Freedom"
- Can be any genre, happy, sad, hilarious.
- Grand prize: Home Recording solution (B16, B4, B22-Alps).
- 2nd Place: choice of B2 ADC or B2 DAC.
- 3rd Place: choice of B1 or B1D.
- The fidelity of the recording does not matter, it can be recorded on anything.
- Audio files must be at 44.1kHz sample rate, WAV File preferred.
- Video files must be at 48kHz sample rate.
- All entries must be submitted by May 15, 2022. One entry per person.
- Submit with a photo, bio or artwork of some kind.
- Videos will be accepted, but video is not required.
- Lyrics can be in any language.
- Judges will consist of a group of industry professionals.
- Winner will be announced by June 16, 2022.
