Peter Gabriel

"I Grieve"

"So hard to move on
Still loving what's gone
They say life carries on
Carries on and on and on and on"

Editorial Intern Anna Jordan

Marek Grechuta

"Jeszcze pożyjemy"

I've been trying out some Polish music and I love Grechuta, he's like the Cure before the Cure was the Cure, you know?

Senior Editor Brett Callwood

The Holy Barbarians

"Blind"

There was a period in the mid '90s when Ian Astbury of The Cult formed a band called The Holy Barbarians, and this writer caught them at a U.K. festival in Stratford called Phoenix, 1996. They may be largely forgotten, with The Cult regularly playing out. But on that day in '96, and on the album, "Blind" was the song that sparkled.

Nas feat. Ms. Lauren Hill

"Nobody"

A standout from Nas's King's Disease II that marks the reunion for Nas and Ms. Lauryn Hill since 1996’s "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)"collabThese two have timeless chemistry—the production is spacious and soulful with esoteric concepts carried across the track.
