Ray LaMontagne Set to Release New Album in May

Ray LaMontagne is set to release his 5th studio album, Supernova, on May 6, 2014 via RCA Records. The album is the follow up to his Grammy-winning album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise. Supernova was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and was recorded in Nashville, TN.

Ray LaMontagne has released four studio albums (Trouble, Till The Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain and God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise). Ray’s last album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Digital Album chart. These numbers tied with Ray's his debut chart position at #3 with Gossip in the Grain. The first single off the album, “Beg Steal or Borrow” became Ray’s first radio #1. God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise garnered three Grammy Award nominations including the Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow” and won the Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album.
