Mic to Monitor L.A. presented by Prism is taking place April 27 from 7 – 10:30 p.m. at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Attendees are invited to attend a free educational seminar that delivers key insights into modern day recording, mixing and mastering techniques.
**Regular tickets are sold out but standing room tickets are still available until April 27 at 6 p.m. PST.
Topics include:
• How do the pros do it?
• What makes great gear great?
• How is that hit sound achieved?
• What does it take to become a successful and in demand engineer?
Prism Sound will be running the seminar alongside fellow manufacturers: SADiE, Audeze, AEA Mics and PMC Speakers plus VIP guest speakers.

Those who attend can learn about audio hardware design, get the best out of their studio and talk to leading engineers as they personally walk through their mixes and reveal their tips and tricks to achieve their acclaimed, signature sound.
Special VIP Q&A guests are Gold and Platinum hit-making producer/mixers Rob Chiarelli and Michael James. Their credits include Will Smith, Pink, Stevie Wonder, Leann Rimes, New Radicals, Hole, Robben Ford and L7. Attendees are encouraged to bring their best questions to fire at the pair who are doing it in the real world right now.
In addition, there is an opportunity to win a Lyra 2 and SADiE, which is worth over $5000.
