Noam Peri describes herself online as a “queer singer-songwriter crafting indie and alternative rock shaped by ‘70s influences, emotional storytelling, and modern pop sensibilities.” That all tracks, when listening to new single “I Wanna Be Your Ex.” There’s a sense of honesty and vulnerability that certainly recalls the great songwriters of the ‘70s. But there’s also an edge that recalls classic rock, even glam rock, standards while simultaneously not sounding dated at all. The multi-talented artist has also written a book, penned poetry, and made a short film. She clearly has a lot to say, and her voice is loud and clear in her music.
