Bring your notebook and your fearless heart for this hands-on three-hour workshop lead by Laura Zucker.
Music Emerging presents the workshop, "SongC.R.A.F.T-Writing Songs in Your Authentic Voice", at the Lyd and Mo Studios in Pasadena, Calif.
Award-winning songwriter Laura Zucker will guide aspiring artists and songwriters through a series of exercises designed to help unlock and connect with your creative songwriting potential.
Workshop will take place Saturday, June 22 from 1 - 4 p.m. with a special BYOB "mix and mingle" from 12:30 - 1 p.m. The cost is $50 which includes a copy of the book, “SongC.R.A.F.T-Writing Songs in Your Authentic Voice.”
At the workshop, artists will learn the five-step “C.R.A.F.T.” method, or a more process-oriented approach primarily focusing on storytelling than hitmaking.
In the evening, Laura and friends will be doing a special "songwriters in the round" with local artists from 7-9 p.m. with an open mic from 6 - 7p.m. (sign ups are at 5:30 p.m.) This concert is free for workshop attendees or $10.
