Grammy Camp Applications Now Open

Grammy in the SchoolsThe Grammy Foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2016 Grammy Camp, Grammy Camp—Jazz Session and Grammy Signature Schools programs for high school students and high school music programs. These programs are part of the Foundation's Grammy in the Schools offerings and are supported in part by Converse, Journeys, RBC Capital Markets, Brookfield Property Partners, Hot Topic Foundation and the Ford Motor Company Fund.

"All of our Grammy in the Schools programs offer inspiration along with valuable instruction and significant resources to help encourage the next generation of music professionals," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy and the Grammy Foundation. "Grammy Camp and Grammy Camp—Jazz Session deliver truly immersive experiences that let high school students eat, sleep and breathe a real world music career, and our GRAMMY Signature Schools program provides public acknowledgement and critical financial resources to high schools for the benefit of their music programs."

For more information or any students and schools interested in participating in the 2016 Grammy Camp—Jazz Session and Grammy Signature Schools programs can apply at grammyintheschools.com. Completed applications are due Oct. 22 for both programs. Oct. 22 is also the early decision deadline for students interested in attending the 12th annual Grammy Camp to be held in summer 2016.
