GPS Signs Nick Marsh

NickMarshGPS announced the signing of Los Angeles-based and Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, DJ and remixer Nick Marsh. A 2012 ASCAP "most performed songs of the year" award winner, Marsh's credits include Chris Brown, Kelis, N Dubz and Cheryl Cole, among others.

Originally from Palo Alto, CA, Marsh grew up playing in punk bands and briefly attended Berklee College of Music before venturing into electronic music. After returning to the West Coast and spending several years working as a DJ throughout the San Francisco bay area, he moved to LA and began working with production team Free School. With Free School he produced and wrote for Chris Brown albums including the Grammy winning FAME and the Grammy-nominated Graffiti and Fortune. On FAME, Marsh co-wrote the international hit "Don't Wake Me Up," a number one song in three countries and winner of ASCAP's "most performed song of the year" award in 2012. He has since left Free School and continues to write and produce for various artists.

As a DJ, Marsh is equally accomplished, performing under the moniker PUBLIC alongside acts including The Crystal Method, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players and Porter Robinson. His signature custom-designed disco ball mask can be seen in the video for Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now." In 2012 Marsh released his first original single as PUBLIC entitled "THANK U!!!"
