This week has seen Fender launch three new guitars: the Jackson Pro Plus Pure Metal, Charvel Pro-Mod Plus Dinky, and Gretsch Broadkaster LX Figured Center Block with String-Thru Bigsby.
Regarding the Jackson, a release reads: "Three satin black guitars built for speed and designed to withstand the demands of relentless touring. These distinctly shaped guitars feature a single bare knuckle holy diver humbucker, Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system and stainless steel frets. Watch the Pro Plus Pure Metal Limited Edition Stealth Feat. Malevolence's Konan Hall. New models include: Pro Plus Pure Metal Limited Edition Soloist SL1A, Limited Edition Rhoads RR1A and Limited Edition Kelly KE1A."
On the Charvel: "Five guitars blending sophisticated style with assertive tone that delivers premium performance with modern features. The Pro-Mod Plus Dinky models feature Seymour Duncan pickups: DK24 HH models have Full Shred TB-10 (bridge) and Alnico Pro II APH-1N (neck); DK24 HSS 2PT QM has Full Shred TB-10 (bridge) with Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 (middle) and SSL-6 RWRP (neck); Limited Edition DK24-7 HH 2PT EB includes Custom Full Shred TB-10 (bridge) and Alnico II Pro APH-1N (neck). New models include: DK24 HH 2PT E in Raven Black and Celestial Silk; DK24 HH 2PT E QM in Midnight Ocean and Chlorine Burst; DK24 HH HT E QM in Violet Radiance; DK24 HSS 2PT QM in Blue Curaçao; Limited Edition DK24-7 HH 2PT EB in Celestial Silk."
