Electric Callboy at the KIA Forum, Los Angeles, CA

German electronicore group Electric Callboy played the KIA Forum with Polaris and Scene Queen Tuesday night (April 21st). Electric Callboy’s last L.A. show took place at the Belasco Theater in 2023. This would be their first arena show in the U.S. The group consists of lead vocalists Kevin Ratajczak and, for the last six years, Nico Sallach—who replaced original member Sebastian Sushi Biesler—guitarists Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß and Pascal Schillo, bassist Daniel Klossek, and Frank Zummo—who had been Sum 41’s drummer (2015-2025) when the group disbanded, joining the group after David-Karl Friedrich who had been a member for 13 years. Electric Callboy has released a total of six albums since 2012
and their new release Tanzneid will come out in August.

The setlist included 21 songs with the first song being the title track of their upcoming album. Song two included a surprise guest, none other than Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley for “Still Waiting”—this was the first time for him and Zummo playing the KIA Forum. Sum 41’s final L.A. show took place across the street at the YouTube Theater in October 2024.

Following Zummo’s drum solo, the group performed acoustically in the crowd for "F*ckboi" and a cover of Cascada’s “Everytime We Touch.” The last song before the encore was “Elevator Operator.” There was a three song encore of their collab with Babymetal “RATATATA,” “Spaceman” and “We Got the Moves.”
