Daytripper Signs Olivia Wendel, Laureli, Daniel Blake

Daytripper Music Publishing (Daytripper), the new creative-centric division of CCS Rights Management (CCS), has announced its first signings for exclusive, worldwide co-publishing deals with three critically-acclaimed up-and-coming songwriters Olivia Wendel, Laureli, and Daniel Blake.

New York-based singer/songwriter Olivia Wendel’s debut album Windthrow was released in 2021 and has drawn comparisons to the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Phoebe Bridgers.

19-year-old rising star and prolific songwriter Laureli has crafted over 400 songs since the beginning of 2020. Her signature pacific pop sound has made her a standout amongst a sea of incredibly talented young artists.

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Daniel Blake’s eclectic melodies and sincere lyrics have caught the attention of major music supervisors and sparked a fast-growing fan base. His songs have been featured in Disney+ series Big ShotPretty Little LiarsBlacklist and more.

“As we begin to further expand CCS and Daytripper into the United States, we’re very excited to announce Daytripper’s new signings, which are the first in our partnership working together with Chris Douridas to identify talent in the U.S. I can’t wait to see what's next for all three writers, as our team works together to help develop and build their careers,” said Jodie Ferneyhough, CCS Rights Management Founder and President.

“Our mission for Daytripper is to identify, nurture, and develop world class songwriters and Olivia, Lauren (Laureli) and Daniel are incredible artists who will make an impact on a global scale. We’re thrilled to have them join our growing international roster and welcome them to the Daytripper family,” added Jordan Howard, CCS Creative/A&R Director.

“These three new artists represent some of the best breakthrough talent in the U.S. I’m a huge fan and look forward to working closely with Jodie, Jordan, and the Daytripper team to broaden their exposure and career growth,” said Chris Douridas.
