Conner Smith Signs Deals with Tape Room and CAA

Conner Smith signs his first major publishing deal with Tape Room Music/Miller Crow Music in addition to signing on with Creative Artist Agency (CAA) for agency representation and talent booking.

The 18-year-old Tennessee native has been making waves among music insiders in the creative community for the past two years as he finishes the final semester of his Senior year of high school at Brentwood Academy, just south of Nashville.

Smith spent the last year juggling baseball and exams, while ducking out of class to play shows with Sam Hunt, Kane Brown & Kip Moore.

Smith is enjoying the final days of being in high school - keeping a split focus by working with Grammy Award-winning writer/producer Zach Crowell & respected manager Brad Belanger, who’ve teamed up in the past for success with Sam Hunt & Dustin Lynch.

With graduation in sight later this spring, Smith has now tapped hit-songwriter Ashley Gorley’s Tape Room Music and Crowell’s newly formed Miller Crow Music to oversee his publishing along with widely loved Darin Murphy at CAA for agency representation. This move is proof that new music is soon to come as Smith plans to spend the summer on the festival circuit.
