Concord Music Publishing Inks New Deal with Jake Gosling

Today, Concord Music Publishing announced a new exclusive publishing deal with GRAMMY Award-nominated English songwriter and producer Jake Gosling. The new worldwide deal, effective immediately, will cover Gosling’s future works.

Throughout his career, Gosling has worked with top artists including Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, James Bay, Shania Twain, Shawn Mendes, Birdy, One Direction and Major Lazer. He also runs his own production company, Sticky Studios, in Surrey, UK and is currently working with artists such as Sam Fischer, Ben Platt, PUBLIC, Anna Clendening, Bugzy Malone, Emeli Sande and George Alice.

Gosling co-wrote and produced on Ed Sheeran’s debut album, +, in 2011, co-writing hit singles such as “Lego House.” Gosling continued working with Sheeran producing and writing on tracks from the triple-platinum album X. He served as the lead producer on the album which was later nominated for Album of the Year at the 2015 GRAMMYs. The following year, his production on the megahit “Thinking Out Loud,” earned Gosling a GRAMMY nomination for Record of The Year.

Aside from his work with Sheeran, Gosling also worked with One Direction on their first two studio albums which became global sensations, Paloma Faith on her UK double platinum album, Fall To Grace, Christina Perri on her UK and US Top 10 album Head or Heart, Shawn Mendes on his triple-platinum No.1 album, Illuminate and Shania Twain’s Now, which was her first studio album in 15 years.

In addition to his two GRAMMY nominations, Gosling has been awarded Music Week’s Producer of The Year Award and has received BRIT Award nominations for Album of the Year and Producer of the Year.
