Collective Soul's Ed Roland receives BMI's Million-Air Awards

On June 17, 2024, COLLECTIVE SOUL singer/songwriter Ed Roland was honored with BMI's Million-Air Awards for his songwriting achievements. Million-Air Awards are given to songwriters whose compositions have been played on the radio more than one million times. "December" has been played four million times and "Shine" five million times on the radio!

As Ed Roland said, “Thank you BMI for all your support, and a huge thanks to each and every one of our fans that have continued to listen through all these years!”

COLLECTIVE SOUL’s highly anticipated and critically acclaimed 12th studio album, HERE TO ETERNITY, was released May 17, 2024. It quickly garnered impressive debuts on various Billboard and Luminate charts—including #14 on Billboard’s Top Current Album chart--thanks to devoted fans whose support continues to help the band celebrate their 30th anniversary. They’re currently on the “Summer Camp with Trucks Tour” with Hootie & The Blowfish, along with Edwin McCain, produced by Live Nation.
