BMG Signs Slipknot's Corey Taylor

Grammy Award-winning, multi-Platinum singer-songwriter, actor, and New York Times best-selling author, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) has signed a new global recordings agreement with BMG to release his upcoming solo studio album, CMF2.

The album, to be released later this year on Taylor’s label imprint Decibel Cooper/BMG, is the follow- up to his 2020 critically acclaimed debut solo album CMFT, which catapulted Taylor to Number One on the Billboard Hard Rock Songwriters chart following the release of his chart-topping single ‘Black Eyes Blue’ and ‘CMFT Must Be Stopped [feat. Tech N9ne & Kid Bookie]’, which has racked up over six-million YouTube views for its star-studded music video.

Taylor’s solo albums illuminate yet another facet of his musical capabilities showcasing his broad spectrum of fiery and fearless rock ‘n’ roll, while touching on lifelong influences ranging from Hard Rock to Classic Rock, Punk Rock to Hip-Hop.

Taylor said, “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with BMG. I haven’t felt this driven and determined since I first started out in ‘99. BMG is the new bastion of Rock and Metal, and with them ready to go, I can tell you we’re heading for big things. Thank you BMG!”
