NAMM and Center Staging Announce Backline and Production Partnership

CenterStaging, one of the leading rehearsal, backline and production companies in the U.S., was just announced as the "official backline partner" of the 2027 NAMM Show, which takes place January 26–30 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The NAMM Show has become the biggest meeting place for music products, technology, creators, artists and entertainment businesses to connect, network and celebrate music, but live musical performance is also a huge part of the experience. The most recognizable names in music perform on the event’s various stages each year. Everyone from Jon Batiste to Billy Corgan,  Green Day to Charlie Puth, Jack White to Victor Wooten, and countless more, have brought unforgettable performances to the event.

The CenterStaging partnership promises top notch backline support for the legendary shows to come as well as NAMM’s awards presentations and programs. CenterStaging will provide production at the event’s best known sites, including the Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage, RCF Arena Stage, Bass Magazine Awards, TEC Awards, SheRocks Awards, NAMM Retail Awards, Grand Rally for Music Education and Bands at NAMM Stages.

“Live music is at the heart of what makes The NAMM Show special,” said John Mlynczak, president and CEO of NAMM tells Music Connection of the partnership. “From emerging artists to legendary performers, these moments bring our music community together. CenterStaging understands what it takes to deliver great live music, and we’re excited to have them as our Official Backline Partner for 2027.”

CenterStaging’s expertise and deep understanding of music artists' technical and production needs has made it a leader in the business, but according NAMM’s press announcement, its role will extend beyond equipment rental. “Comprehensive backline coordination across participating stages and events” will also be taken care of. The company will work with exhibitors and brand partners to advance equipment needs as well, coordinating shipping, instruments and more, making sure that every performer has everything they need for seamless experiences and great sounding sets.
