Scarlet Fantastic
"No Memory"
An '80s banger from British dance-pop duo Scarlet Fantastic. They didn't do much else, and split in the early '90s. But I believe they reformed in this decade. Keep your eye out for them.

"Victim of Love"
"At last, I don't give a fuck," they say. Seems appropriate enough.

Kenny Rankin
"Blackbird"
Paul McCartney wrote "Blackbird" in 1968 as a response to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. While the song uses the imagery of a bird, McCartney has confirmed it was a deliberate metaphor intended to offer hope to Black Americans—specifically Black women—during their struggle for equality. He was so impressed by
Kenny Rankin's cover of "Blackbird" that he asked Rankin to perform it at his 1987 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction. I miss my very close friend so much....
