Nashville-based singer/songwriter Will Jones has officially signed with WME, the world’s leading entertainment agency, for global representation across all areas. The Blue Ridge Mountains native is steadily building a name for himself by blending Appalachian soul with outlaw grit and timeless storytelling, creating a sound that honors tradition while pushing forward in country music.
A statement from the company discloses that WME’s Carter Green and Jay Williams are enthusiastic about the partnership: “Will’s talent, work ethic, and musicianship is exceptional. In addition to the WME deal, Jones has signed with Lady Luck Songs and Blue Harbor Music for publishing and artist development. Coinciding with this announcement, Jones is releasing a new single titled “Lonesome Dove” on July 11. Written alongside Davis Corley, Lee Starr, and Dan Wilson, and produced by Cliff Audretch and Rob McNelley, the song draws inspiration from classic storytelling. Jones explains, “‘Lonesome Dove’ came from imagining what Gus McCrae might’ve said to Lorie Darlin’ in that saloon. It’s a lighthearted take on the idea that not everyone’s chasing forever — sometimes it’s enough to share a moment, even if it only lasts the length of a song.”
