Faisel Durrani Named Looped Co-CEO

Looped announced long-time music executive Faisel Durrani has joined the company as Co-CEO. In this role, Durrani will oversee Looped’s strategic initiatives, new business opportunities, marketing strategies and talent relationships. As Co-CEO, Durrani joins a team of Founders who have made an impact on the technology solutions industry in just a few short years and who were most recently recognized on the 2021 Forbes ‘30 Under 30’ List of Young Entrepreneurs in Consumer Technology.

This new role, and Durrani’s joining of the team, highlights Looped’s continued growth with leading industry experts at the helm. With more than 25 years in the creative industry, Durrani’s move showcases his personal bet on the future of live virtual events and Looped’s best-in-class streaming technology, production and ticketing solutions for creators.

Throughout his executive career, Durrani has helped artists and companies grow by developing and executing world-class business strategies. He has held leadership positions at leading industry organizations including EVP of International Marketing at Island Def Jam and President of Marketing & SVP of Global Touring Live Nation.

In his most recent role as GM & EVP of Def Jam Recordings, Durrani managed fiscal business plans, as well as restructured the businesses marketing, commerce, and content creation departments to find efficiencies and increased output for the organization. Durrani is also touted for helping break GRAMMY-nominated artist Logic and GRAMMY-winner Alessia Cara on the worldwide stage, as well as overseeing Beyonce’s career as a musician, actress, producer, director, and fashion designer during his time as President of Parkwood Entertainment.

Looped was founded in 2019 and has since hosted more than 300,000 fans and 1,000 creators including Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, BTS, Kevin Durant, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Usher, Sam Smith, Charlie Puth, Khalid, Dua Lipa, Luke Bryan, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Diplo, Hannibal Buress, Ken Jeong, Jane Fonda, Gov.
