Over 30 years and counting, Freestyle All-Stars like Stevie B, Debbie Deb, Lisa Lisa and Stacey Q, rocked the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA as they performed Freestyle hits from their repertoire in front of a roaring crowd. Those in attendance age-ranged from the late 20s to the early 50s.
With a cult-like following, Freestyle is a form of Latin-influenced EDM that originated from the urban communities of the U.S. in the '80s. To this day, it is still produced and enjoyed. It has gained popularity in certain areas, such as, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Canada and parts Internationally. Freestyle music opened up the doors for notable artists to achieve worldwide success like Madonna, MC Hammer, New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul, Bobby Brown and many more.
