Former Yes members Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman came together last year to form Anderson Rabin Wakeman (ARW) along with bassist Lee Pomeroy, and drummer Lou Molino III. The only time that ARW were all in YES together was on the Union Tour in 1991-92. The ARW tour titled “An Evening of Yes Music and More,” Back in April this year ARW joined YES members Steve Howe and Alan White for the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame Induction when YES finally received their long overdue honor. So far the tour dates are scheduled through mid-October this year are all on the East Coast and two shows in Canada.
The show started with an intro from Pomeroy and Molino III as Rabin and Wakeman walked out followed by Anderson bringing his magical touch to the stage. The opening song was “Cinema.” To simply put it seeing Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman was magical as all 3 are as great as ever with a rhythm section recreating the parts of Chris Squire and Alan White/ Bill Bruford. The set included hits such as "Rhythm Of Love," “Heart of the Sunrise,” “Long Distance Runaround,” “Owner of A Lonely Heart,” and “Roundabout.” For "Owner Of A Lonely Heart," Wakeman and Rabin came walking through the audience after each member soloed. Although the set was just 12 songs, the show came to almost two hours due to the length of the songs as well as extra keyboard, drum, guitar, and bass solos.
