Think Loud Studios Announces Grammy-Nominated Producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak as Partners

Think Loud Studios--the premier state-of-the-art recording studio and artist resident space in flourishing downtown York, Pennsylvania co-owned by guitarist Chad Taylor, bassist Patrick Dahlheimer and drummer Chad Gracey of the multi-platinum band +LIVE+--have announced Grammy-nominated producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak (Atrium Audio, LLC) as partners.

"Carson and Grant are on the cutting edge of rock and metal production," says Chad Taylor. "They bring a wealth of experience to TLS, from independent artists to Grammy-nominated bands like August Burns Red."

"Grant and I are beyond excited to join up with Think Loud Studios," says Carson Slovak. "We can't wait to combine our years of experience with their amazing facility. To be able to call this studio home is a dream come true. The facility is simply incredible and we're looking forward to making some great records there for years to come."

Carson and Grant have engineered, produced and mixed music for many bands, including August Burns Red, From Ashes To New, Lorna Shore, Galactic Empire, Summer Scouts, A Wake In Providence, Carousel Kings, Polaris, Texas In July, Black Crown Initiate, Throw The Fight, This or the Apocalypse, Sirens & Sailors, Affiance, I The Breather, My Heart To Fear, Rivers of Nihil, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, as well as multi-platinum rock groups LIVE, Candlebox and Everclear. Carson and Grant are also the founders of Galactic Empire, who are picking up great momentum. The band will be releasing their sophomore album on Rise Records in May and doing a run of European summer festivals, including Download Paris & Madrid.

In addition, artists Johnny Clegg, Royal Bliss, Zoe LaBelle and Damien Escobar have recorded at the studio. Producer Jerry Harrison and mixer and engineer Tom Lord-Alge have utilized the studio. The Canadian National Anthem for the NBC Olympics broadcast was also mixed at the studio.
