Romeo Santos

Romeo Santos at The Forum in Inglewood, CA

Latin singer Romeo Santos stopped at the Forum in Inglewood, CA on March 31 for his Golden Tour. With twenty years in the music industry, he has rightfully earned the title "king of bachata" music. Formally lead singer of Aventura Bronx bred, half Puerto Rican and Dominican, the bachata superstar Romeo Santos mesmerized his loyal fans with many of his hits songs old and new.

Golden is a great album, it is his first album since 2014 when he released Formula Vol 2. Romeo started off with one of his hits songs from the Golden album "Sobredosis" ft. Ozuna, followed by "Tuyo" which had traditional bachata guitar strumming with assuring romantic lyrics of devotion and loyalty. Every song he sang, fans especially women stood up to their feet and begun screaming and dancing. Especially when he sang the hit song as the crowd favorite "Eris Mia."

As the show went on, he called out two male fans to come on stage who knew the lyrics to the song "Bella y Sensual" ft Daddy Yankee and Nicky Jam. Whoever sang it clear and precise would win $200 in cash. Finally, Romeo transitioned to a smaller stage in the forum and sang many of his older songs such as "Propuesta Indecente" and "Hermanita" where he engaged with the fans in a more intimate setting grabbing their cell phones and recording himself as he sung his many hits. The King of Bachata once again made history at the forum with an ending finale of confetti raining on loyal and devoted fans.
