The 2017 Retro Futura Tour kicked off at the Greek Theater Tuesday night starting with Katrina (Formerly Katrina and the Waves) playing a short 5 song set ending on her biggest hit "Walking On Sunshine." Immediately following Katrina was new wave legend Paul Young for a 20 minute set with a house band that played during Katrina's set. Young's set included the hits "Everytime You Go Away," and "Come Back and Stay." Next up was Ska pioneers The English Beat which kept everyone on their feat for the 35 minutes they played and endured technical difficulties in the beginning of their with guitarist/singer's Dave Wakeling's microphone not working. Following the English Beat was synth pop legends Men Without Hats who opened up and closed with their biggest hit "Safety Dance." Their 30 minute set also included "Pop Goes the World." Headlining the show was Synthpop/New Wave legend Howard Jones whose hour long set consisted of his hits "Things Can Only Get Better," "What Is Love," "Everylasting Love," and "No One Is to Blame."
