SideOneDummy Records has announced the signing of Portland indie-pop duo Dresses. The band's debut album Sun Shy will be available everywhere digitally on 9/3/13 and physically on 10/22/13.
With a quirky attitude that is entirely their own, Dresses deliver one infectious track after another on their forthcoming album, Sun Shy. Whether it’s their debut single “Blew My Mind,” which is the first that members Timothy Heller (vocals/guitar) and Jared Ryan Maldonado (vocals/guitar/ukulele) ever wrote together, or “Back To Life,” a playful tale of new love, it’s clear that the two have undeniable chemistry.
It was that same connection that caught the attention of the media and eventually, their new record label. “Dresses has such a positive vibe and an undeniable raw talent between them,” said SideOneDummy Records co-founder Joe Sib. “We’re stoked to welcome them to the SideOne family!”
