Pitchfork Music Festival 2017: LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, Solange and more

The festival is happening July 14-16 at Chicago’s Union Park. This year’s lineup, includes headliners A Tribe Called Quest, Solange and LCD Soundsystem, plus PJ Harvey, Dirty Projectors, Angel Olsen, The Avalanches and more.

Additionally, Pitchfork will have two new elements this year: the brand new Special Curated Saint Heron Events, a collaboration with the label & arts platform founded by Solange Knowles, and the Pitchfork +Plus Upgrade. The Saint Heron-curated event series will feature an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, late night jazz jam sessions, and more. These will take place from Thursday, July 13th through Sunday, July 16th at various locations throughout Chicago:

Thursday, July 13 @ Black Cinema House at the Stony Island Arts Bank – Saint Heron curated evening of film and discussion.
Friday, July 14 @ Soho House Chicago – Poetry reading and discussion presented by Young Chicago Authors and Saint Heron
Saturday, July 15 @ The Promontory – Saint Heron Presents an After Fest Jazz Jam & Party featuring the select house band and special surprise guests
Friday, July 14 – Sunday, July 16th @ On-site Saint Heron Installation Space – Saint Heron will feature works from contemporary black art makers for the duration of the festival.
 
The festival opens on Friday with performances by LCD Soundsystem, Dirty Projectors, Danny Brown, Thurston Moore, Vince Staples, Arca, Kamaiyah, Hiss Golden Messenger, Frankie Cosmos, William Tyler, D∆WN, Priests, and Madame Ghandi.

Saturday features A Tribe Called Quest, PJ Harvey, Angel Olsen, The Feelies, George Clinton, Mitski, Madlib, Arab Strap, S U R V I V E, Francis and the Lights, Weyes Blood, Jeff Rosenstock, Cherry Glazerr, and Vagabon.
 
On Sunday, the festival presents Solange, Nicolas Jaar, The Avalanches, Ride, American Football, Isaiah Rashad, Hamilton Leithauser, Pinegrove, Jamila Woods, Colin Stetson, Derrick Carter, Joey Purp, NE-HI, and Kilo Kish.

As of today, ticket prices have increased to $75 a day, and $175 for a three-day pass. Additionally, the Pitchfork +PLUS upgrade is available for $365 for a three-day pass. Pitchfork +PLUS is an additional ticket tier that includes everything General Admissions passes provide plus a range of exclusive amenities to enjoy throughout the weekend.
