Music Connection "Top 25" Artist Signs Label Deal

AlfaLos Angeles-based folk/pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Alfa, is gearing up for a busy 2015, having just inked a record deal with Pacific Records.

Alfa has placed songs on MTV, E!, CMJ Top 200 and independent films such as Baby Steps (from the producer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Old Fashioned (Skoche Films), while touring independently throughout the U.S. and her native Philippines. Alfa just signed with Pacific Records, San Diego’s premier independent record label, known for supporting a wide range of popular musicians. Pacific’s roster of artists include Grammy® laureates, RIAA, BMI and ASCAP award recipients, Billboard Chart playlist positions, NAMM and music industry trade show recognition, iTunes features and opening showcase concert performances in POLSTAR registered major recording artists touring venues.

Alfa will begin the recording of her next full-length album over the next three months at Pacific Records Studios in San Diego, and a release date will be announced within that timeframe. Alfa is supported by Kawai, Breedlove, Mya-Moe Ukuleles, Fishman and D'Addario, and recently performed a demo at the Hal Leonard booth at NAMM 2015 alongside Hamilton Stands. No stranger to live audiences, she has performed in notable venues such as Lincoln Center in NYC, Troubadour in West Hollywood and The Shrine in L.A.
