Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit In Asheville, NC, Announces Lineup

AC Entertainment has announced the initial line up for the 2013 Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit, slated for the weekend of October 25 - 27 in downtown Asheville, NC. Nine Inch Nails, Bassnectar, and Pretty Lights will headline the three-day weekend, which also will feature a performance by Neutral Milk Hotel, who have not played live since 1998. Additionally, Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum is curating the night of music surrounding the band's performance, including special guests Daniel Johnston and Half Japanese.

Other artists confirmed for this year's initial Mountain Oasis 2013 line up: the avant-rock Animal Collective, Trent Reznor's new project How To Destroy Angels, electronic rock legend Gary Numan, Montreal-based post-rock visionaries Godspeed You! Black Emperor, producer/rapper and "trip hop" pioneer Tricky, the powerful collaboration between Zola Jesus and JG Thirwell which debuted last spring at the Guggenheim Museum, electro-pop diva Jessie Ware, legendary electro-producer The Bug, and electronica pioneers Silver Apples along with a vital sampling of who's who of the new wave in electronica including Disclosure, Rustie, Chromatics, Robert DeLong, Jacques Greene, and Bondax.

Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks, with some 50 - 60 artists slated to perform in October.

Weekend passes for Mountain Oasis 2013 will go on sale Thursday, May 2, at 12 Noon Eastern Time exclusively at www.mountainoasisfestival.com.
